Vice President for Conservation Programs

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Vice President for Conservation Programs provides overall leadership for Wild Salmon Center’s conservation programs, including day-to-day management of the North America program. He or she will devise and execute strategic initiatives and conservation campaigns to influence policy and advance programmatic objectives, with a focus on North America, and will ensure alignment of strategies and operations across all conservation programs. The Vice President for Conservation Programs directly supervises the conservation program directors and the North America program managers, and serves as a member of the Organization’s senior management team. In addition, the Vice President for Conservation Programs works with the CEO and Wild Salmon Center Board of Directors to keep them informed of programmatic strategies and challenges.

Program Associate

The Program Associate will work across conservation, basic biological and medical research program areas to help manage all administrative and strategic components of the grantmaking process, including researching new organizations, reviewing and processing requests, ensuring accurate payment and accounting of grants, and providing comprehensive reports to executive management.

The Office of Population and Reproductive Health (PRH) in USAID’s Bureau for Global Health seeks a Population, Health, and Environment (PHE) Technical Advisor. The PHE Technical Advisor provides technical guidance and management oversight to population, health, environment (PHE) activities within PRH programs. PHE activities are designed to enhance understanding of the linkages between population and natural resource dynamics and to improve the delivery of family planning and reproductive health information and services to underserved communities in biologically significant areas where population growth threatens biodiversity or endangered species.
