Australian Environmental Grantmakers Network

The AEGN is a not-for-profit organisation and is incorporated as a public company limited by guarantee.

The AEGN’s mission is to help its members become more effective environmental grantmakers through information sharing, collaboration and networking.

We provide the means for environmental grantmakers to:

• Connect with, encourage and challenge one another;
• Explore environmental issues and grantmaking; and
• Promote, diversify and expand environmental philanthropy.

The AEGN Board is made up of AEGN members who are appointed by member nomination and voting at our annual general meeting. The AEGN was constituted in February 2008 and its first AGM was held on Wednesday 26 August 2009. We welcome member involvement so please contact us if you are interested in being involved in the AEGN in a more substantial way.
